Prof. Omar Salah, Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright’s Amsterdam office, has been appointed as Conferee of the Conference on European Restructuring and Insolvency Law (CERIL). CERIL is a non-profit organisation with a unique independent perspective on developments in restructuring and insolvency systems across Europe. It is a membership organisation of experienced and respected restructuring and insolvency practitioners, judges and academics. Becoming Conferee to CERIL is by invitation-only. CERIL has a cap of 100 Conferees.
The Conferees are involved in several projects under the auspices of the CERIL Working Parties. Several of CERIL’s statements and reports have been beneficial for governments and courts and based on its work, CERIL recently has obtained observer status at the UNCITRAL Working Group V (Insolvency Law).
